The #1 complaint people have about their web designer is that they can't get them to respond. Why is that?

How many times have you said (or heard someone say) "I can't get anybody to pick up the phone" about a company? I definitely have heard people say that about web design companies when they call us looking for assistance. I can empathize, not getting a live person to talk to in any situation when you need to is very frustrating. Further, having a good relationship with your web company is imperative to your online presence. You need to be able to let them know your business nuances and that information is necessary for your web company, if they are good at what they do, to market you online appropriately.

Not being able to reach a person at a business you pay money to is unacceptable. Unfortunately, we often hear from people that before coming to Alt Media Studios, they had a website that was handled by someone they knew but now couldn't contact. Perhaps the person they hired took another job, moved to another state, or changed their number without any notice to their clients. This is hard to believe in my point of view but it does happen!. This why we at Alt Media Studios do not just design and host websites, but also provide full webmaster services. This includes regular monthly maintenance for our customers' websites. If we were to bring your website up to date by providing you a redesign or revamp of your site and host it on our servers, you will from time to time need an adjustment. To maintain a good relationship with our clients, we want to be as available as possible by phone. In some cases, though, an email is necessary and we may ask for one from you. Why would that be necessary?

Emails eliminate unnecessary confusion. If someone calls in and gives us a list of things to change, something may be not conveyed correctly. Further, something may be lost in translation. True, it may require a little more forethought on the part of the website owner to prepare an email, but it saves time for both parties in the long run. Having said that, there may be last minute changes that have to be done. In those cases, we understand that a phone call is required and we are happy to help you with that.

We want you, from existing valued client to new potential customer, to feel that your call is welcome. Our team of customer service representatives are always available to help with whatever issues you may have. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, Eastern Standard Time. Even in case of emergencies, such as problems you may have on the weekends, we are available by email and we do get back to you.
